Vehicle Stability Features

[1]Vehicle not shown with standard roof-mounted shark-fin antenna.

Both the GS 460 and GS 350 are equipped with the breakthrough Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM)  [1] system. It employs a variety of safety features to help control loss of traction during a turn, including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) [2] and Traction Control (TRAC). When sensors detect a problem, VDIM uses a combination of individual-wheel braking, throttle activation and steering assistance to seamlessly correct the situation before a skid actually occurs, helping the driver keep the vehicle on track.

[1]Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) are electronic systems designed to help the driver maintain control under adverse conditions. They are not substitutes for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VSC and VDIM will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. [2]Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions.
